Aerospace sector includes two distinct areas of research and application: the pure aeronautics sector, which comprises everything related to flight and transport (human or material) within Earth’s atmosphere (aviation, avionics, aeronautical engineering, civil aircraft, military aircraft and helicopters) and the space sector, comprising all the activities that are developed outside Earth’s atmosphere, with the purpose of research and planetary observation mainly (observation satellites, navigation, shuttle, telecommunications, etc).
